Project overview

You will support a quality assurance platform designed to validate the reliability and consistency of services, data flows, and user interfaces. The project focuses on structured testing, cross team coordination, and continuous improvement of quality processes.

Position overview

You will work as a senior QA specialist responsible for front end and back end manual testing across a distributed system. You will validate data accuracy, API behaviours, and user interface experiences while collaborating with engineering teams to ensure consistent quality.

This role follows standard India office hours and includes at least one hour of overlap with the United States Pacific time zone for coordinated meetings during the late evening in India.

Technology stack

Manual testing tools, REST API testing tools, SQL, NoSQL, UI and UX validation tools, Basic automation tools

Responsibilities

Perform front end and back end manual testing for web applications and services
Validate REST APIs including functional behaviour and error scenarios
Analyse data accuracy using SQL and NoSQL tools
Conduct UI and UX testing with attention to usability and consistency
Document test results and collaborate with engineering teams on issue resolution
Support the creation and improvement of test cases and structured testing plans
Contribute to testing best practices and help others understand quality processes
Coordinate with distributed teams during scheduled overlap periods

Requirements

Experience performing manual testing for front end and back end components
Experience validating REST APIs
Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL for data analysis and verification
Experience performing UI and UX testing
Ability to communicate clearly in English
Ability to self manage testing activities in collaboration with team members

Nice to have

Experience with automation tools or automated testing practices
Familiarity with distributed system concepts
Understanding of the travel ecosystem
Experience mentoring others on testing approaches
