Our client is a global travel and services organization that operates large scale booking, retail, and customer engagement platforms.

Project overview

This project focuses on enhancing cloud infrastructure reliability and observability for large scale platforms. You will work on improving deployment pipelines, strengthening monitoring capabilities, and ensuring stable delivery environments across distributed systems.

Team

You will collaborate with cloud engineers, DevOps specialists, and software developers in a cross functional team. The team works in an iterative delivery model with a strong focus on automation, reliability, and knowledge sharing.

Position overview

We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer with strong experience in Azure and Datadog. You will work on improving infrastructure stability, building automation, and strengthening observability across cloud environments.

Technology stack

Azure services, Azure DevOps, Datadog, Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker, CI CD, scripting languages, monitoring and alerting tools

Responsibilities

Design and maintain Azure based infrastructure environments
Develop and optimize CI CD pipelines to support reliable and repeatable deployments
Configure and enhance Datadog dashboards, monitors, and alerts
Collaborate with development teams to implement infrastructure automation and cloud best practices
Improve platform reliability through monitoring, performance tuning, and proactive incident prevention
Ensure that infrastructure as code practices are consistently applied using tools such as Terraform
Contribute to documentation and knowledge sharing across the team

Requirements

9+ years of experience working as a DevOps engineer
Experience working with Microsoft Azure services
Practical experience with Datadog monitoring, dashboards, logs, and alerts
Experience building and maintaining CI CD pipelines in Azure DevOps
Hands on experience with Terraform or other infrastructure as code tools
Familiarity with Kubernetes, Docker, and container based deployments
Experience with scripting languages such as Bash or PowerShell
Background working in cross functional engineering teams

Nice to have

Experience with Azure Kubernetes Service
Exposure to distributed tracing concepts
Background in production incident troubleshooting and root cause analysis
