Contributions from colleagues and partners as well as DataArt’s matching policy have yielded over $700,000 in under four months.
Here are some of our most impactful initiatives:
- Medical center equipment — DataArt and partners sponsored the renovation of the Military Medical Hospital of the Western Region of Ukraine and contributed to dozens of initiatives to procure surgical instruments, air conditioners, furniture, printers, gurneys, washing machines, and medicines.
- Heating stations and generators — DataArt and partners financially supported the initiative to establish a heating station in Kharkiv. The station is equipped with generators to keep residents warm and allow them to cook and make sleeping arrangements during blackouts. We also helped acquire and deliver electrical supply equipment (such as generators and power banks) to schools, hospitals, and shelters.
- Aid for de-occupied territories — DataArt and partners donated to You Are The Angel fund to provide food, candles, and hygiene supplies for rural areas and those devastated by the war. We provided funding to Shidniaki charity, the foundation helping the people living in Kharkiv and de-occupied territories. We also continue to sponsor a community-driven humanitarian aid mission in Kherson, providing food and medicine for over 700 people each month.
- Ambulances — DataArt and partners sponsored the purchase of ambulances and related equipment, including oxygen tanks, electric aspirators, stretchers, defibrillators, infusion pumps, and medical refrigerators. We are one of the core donors for the Razom for Ukraine charity fund’s initiative to acquire two equipped ambulance vehicles for the Pirogov First Volunteer Mobile Hospital.
- Internet access for bomb shelters — DataArt and partners collaborated with the Lviv ІТ Cluster, a tech community, to enable internet access in bomb shelters by providing 1,000 routers and internet access points to kindergartens and schools in the Lviv Oblast.
- Child rehabilitation — DataArt’s matching of employee donations to U4UA, which provides rehabilitation for Ukrainian children with cerebral palsy, covered over 200 rehabilitation sessions. We also sponsored Благодійний Фонд "Діти Героїв", a charity devoted to helping children who lost one or both parents during the war.
We express endless gratitude to all contributors.
