Position overview

We are looking for a Senior Ruby Developer with strong backend engineering skills and experience in scripting applications. This role requires proficiency in Ruby, Java, and modern observability tools. You’ll work closely with a small, collaborative team, share ideas, and help improve processes as we grow.

Responsibilities

Design and implement backend services and scripting applications using Ruby and Java.
Develop and maintain CLI tools and automation scripts (STDIN/OUT handling).
Ensure system observability and performance monitoring using Prometheus and Grafana.
Work on XML data manipulation and integration tasks.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and reliable solutions.
Troubleshoot and optimize concurrency issues (threads and processes).
Contribute to containerization and deployment using Docker/Podman and GCP environments.
Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and solution design.
