Project overview

This project supports a group of strategic digital initiatives for a global hospitality organization. Workstreams may include development of a new web application, migration of legacy systems to modern cloud based platforms, implementation of a voice agent for contact centers and initial setup of a data lake. A governance structure will guide discovery phases and ensure efficient coordination across all teams.

Team

You will work within a governance team that collaborates with delivery teams, technical leads, analysts and cross functional specialists. The team values structured communication, predictable delivery and clear visibility across all initiatives.

Position overview

We are looking for a Senior Project Manager who will oversee multiple concurrent initiatives and support governance activities across the engagement. You will coordinate workstreams, maintain alignment among stakeholders and ensure that discovery phases are delivered with structure and clarity. This is a client facing role that requires regular communication with teams and the ability to define and reinforce delivery processes. The position requires on site presence in Cancun or the ability to travel as needed.

Cloud platforms, web application technologies, Salesforce, data lake tooling, collaboration tools such as Jira and Confluence

Responsibilities

  • Project governance and coordination
  • Plan and coordinate concurrent initiatives across technology workstreams
  • Drive discovery activities and ensure clarity of scope, risks and dependencies
  • Maintain visibility of progress, risks and decisions across the engagement
  • Delivery oversight and process leadership
  • Collaborate closely with delivery teams to understand progress and blockers
  • Define and reinforce delivery processes and ways of working
  • Ensure consistent execution across workstreams and support alignment
  • Prepare structured reporting for stakeholders
  • Stakeholder management and alignment
  • Build relationships with client stakeholders across different levels
  • Serve as a central point of coordination between client teams and partners
  • Align expectations, priorities and decision making across groups
  • Facilitate discussions when clarification or realignment is required
  • Planning, staffing and financial awareness
  • Support planning and tracking activities across initiatives
  • Participate in staffing and candidate validation when needed
  • Maintain awareness of financial considerations and support controls

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in IT project management
  • Experience in consulting or services environments with enterprise level clients
  • Experience coordinating complex multi project environments
  • Understanding of software delivery lifecycle and Agile practices
  • Experience defining and implementing governance and reporting structures
  • Experience working with Jira, Confluence or similar tools
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Native Spanish and professional English proficiency

Nice to have

  • Experience with Salesforce related projects
  • Experience with data platforms or AI related initiatives
  • Experience working in multi vendor ecosystems
  • Experience within hospitality or service oriented industries
