Project overview

The project focuses on enhancing client reporting and data processes within a financial services environment. You will work on data integrations, reporting automation, and operational support to ensure accuracy and efficiency of client facing deliverables.

Team

You will work in a cross functional team that supports both delivery and business as usual operations. The team collaborates with business users, developers, QA specialists, and external partners, balancing structured project work with ongoing support activities.

Position overview

We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst who can gather and analyze data, translate business needs into technical requirements, and support both project delivery and ongoing operations. You will work closely with stakeholders while independently driving analysis, issue resolution, and improvements across reporting and data workflows.

Technology stack

SQL, ETL pipelines, APIs, file based processing, Tableau, Power BI

Responsibilities

Gather and analyze data to identify trends, issues, and actionable insights
Translate business requirements into clear and structured technical specifications
Support client reporting enhancements and automation initiatives
Work with data integrations including APIs, ETL pipelines, and file based processes
Investigate, reconcile, and validate data using SQL and analytical methods
Triage and resolve production and reporting issues end to end
Collaborate with business users and technical teams to ensure accurate delivery
Maintain high accuracy and timeliness of client facing outputs
Handle multiple concurrent tasks including daily support and ad hoc requests
Drive tasks independently across the full Software Development Lifecycle
Identify improvement opportunities and contribute to process optimization

Requirements

Strong data gathering and data analysis skills
Experience using SQL for data investigation and validation
Experience working with data pipelines, APIs, and ETL processes
Experience supporting reporting systems or data driven applications
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
Strong communication skills with both business and technical stakeholders
Ability to work independently and take ownership of deliverables
Experience driving requirements through the Software Development Lifecycle
Availability to collaborate with teams aligned to EST working hours

Nice to have

Background in finance, particularly asset management
Experience with business intelligence tools such as Tableau or Power BI
Familiarity with prompt engineering concepts and tools
Experience working in client facing reporting or data environments
