Position overview

We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst to support complex IT delivery initiatives for a large banking client. The role requires strong banking domain knowledge, enterprise IT experience, and practical use of AI tools to improve business analysis, requirements management, documentation, and stakeholder communication.

Microsoft ecosystem, Azure services, SQL, Power BI, business analysis tools, AI and machine learning concepts, data analytics tools

Responsibilities

  • Gather, analyze, and document business, functional, and non-functional requirements.
  • Use AI tools to accelerate requirements analysis, documentation, meeting summaries, backlog preparation, process analysis, and research.
  • Facilitate workshops, interviews, backlog refinement, and requirement clarification sessions with business and technical stakeholders.
  • Translate business needs into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, use cases, and specification documents.
  • Analyze banking processes, identify gaps, dependencies, risks, business rules, and improvement opportunities.
  • Support solution design by clarifying data flows, integrations, system behavior, and operational scenarios.
  • Maintain and prioritize product backlog together with product owners and delivery teams.
  • Support UAT planning, test scenario preparation, defect clarification, and business validation.
  • Ensure requirements are aligned with banking regulations, audit expectations, security standards, and internal governance.
  • Apply AI responsibly, respecting confidentiality, data privacy, compliance, and internal banking policies.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, System Analyst, Product Analyst, or similar role.
  • Strong experience with requirement collection, documentation, stakeholder management, and process analysis.
  • Hands-on experience writing user stories, acceptance criteria, BRDs, FRDs, process flows, use cases, and data mapping documents.
  • Good understanding of software delivery lifecycle, Agile/Scrum, and enterprise IT delivery.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both business and technical stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical thinking, structured documentation, facilitation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, Confluence, Visio, Miro, SharePoint, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Practical experience using AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT Enterprise, Azure OpenAI, or similar for business analysis tasks.
  • Understanding of AI limitations, prompt quality, human review, confidentiality, and responsible AI usage in regulated environments.
  • Upper-intermediate or advanced English.

Nice to have

  • Experience in banking, fintech, payments, lending, risk, compliance, or financial services
  • Experience working with large corporate clients or regulated enterprise environments.
  • Experience with regulatory, audit, KYC/AML, risk, or digital transformation projects.
