Project overview

The Platform Enablement Hub project focuses on setting up, evolving, and governing shared platform and delivery infrastructure across multiple digital initiatives. These initiatives include web application development, CRM platform evolution, voice based solutions, and the initial setup of a data lake. A central governance approach ensures consistency, scalability, and reliable delivery across all technical workstreams.

Position overview

We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer (GCP) to support the setup, evolution, and governance of the platform and delivery infrastructure across multiple initiatives. The role focuses on enabling teams to deliver efficiently and reliably, establishing standards for CI/CD, infrastructure, and environment management. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in multi-project environments, combining hands-on execution with the ability to define and promote best practices. This role is remote-friendly, with availability to travel when required for key project phases or stakeholder alignment.

Technology stack

Google Cloud Platform, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, CI CD pipelines, monitoring and logging tools, cloud networking and security services

Responsibilities

Design and manage cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform to support multiple initiatives
Define and implement infrastructure as code using Terraform or similar tools
Ensure platform scalability, reliability, and security across environments
Design, implement, and maintain CI CD pipelines for multiple delivery teams
Standardize build, deployment, and release processes to improve delivery consistency
Manage development, staging, and production environments and deployment workflows
Ensure configuration consistency and environment governance
Support troubleshooting, incident resolution, and operational improvements when required
Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting to improve observability and reliability
Collaborate closely with architects and development teams to align platform capabilities with delivery needs
Define, document, and promote DevOps and platform engineering best practices
Encourage automation and continuous improvement across teams

Requirements

5 to 8 or more years of experience in DevOps or Platform Engineering roles
Strong hands on experience with Google Cloud Platform
Experience implementing infrastructure as code using Terraform or similar tools
Proven experience designing and maintaining CI CD pipelines
Experience with containerization using Docker and orchestration using Kubernetes or similar platforms
Experience with monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions
Experience working in multi team or multi project environments
Strong problem solving and communication skills
Spanish language proficiency
Professional level English

Nice to have

Experience with serverless architectures such as Cloud Run or Cloud Functions
Exposure to data platforms or AI related workloads
Experience working in multi vendor delivery environments
Domain experience in hospitality or travel related projects
