Our client is a global asset, investment, and financial product management company operating across the United States and in over 40 other countries.

Team

You will be part of a cross functional DevOps team working closely with product and engineering teams distributed across the United States and Europe. Collaboration is iterative and structured, with a strong focus on platform stability, security, automation, and shared ownership across teams.

Position overview

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer who will design, implement, and operate enterprise grade CI CD pipelines for cloud based environments. You will play a key role in migrating delivery pipelines from Jenkins to GitHub Actions, building reusable workflows, and enabling standardized deployment practices across multiple product teams.

The role requires onsite presence at the Newark, New Jersey client office, with an ideal onsite schedule of three days per week on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

The estimated salary range for this position is from 100,000 to 120,000 USD per year.

Technology stack

GitHub, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Go, Python, AWS, Amazon EKS, Argo CD, Terraform, Azure, Entra ID, YAML, GitOps, observability and monitoring platforms

Responsibilities

Design and develop internal CLI tools and automation providers primarily using Go
Plan and execute the migration of CI CD pipelines from Jenkins to GitHub Actions
Standardize and maintain reusable CI CD workflows as part of a golden path platform
Collaborate with cloud architects and engineers to design and operate AWS infrastructure on Amazon EKS
Implement GitOps practices using Argo CD for application delivery
Embed observability and reliability practices using SLO driven monitoring and alerting
Use engineering metrics data to identify, prioritize, and deliver platform improvements
Enable, educate, and support engineering teams adopting the platform
Participate in an on call rotation aligned with the UK time zone when required
Leverage AI assisted tools in daily engineering work to improve productivity and quality
Coordinate independently with multiple product teams based in the United States

Requirements

Experience building enterprise CI CD pipelines for cloud deployments including build validation, environment promotion, and deployment gates
Hands on experience with GitHub and GitHub Actions including workflow authoring, reusable workflows, environments, and secrets management
Experience with Python library or API development
Experience working with Azure and Entra ID including service principals, managed identities, and RBAC
Infrastructure as Code experience using Terraform for Azure resources and YAML based configuration
Fluency in English and Hindi

Nice to have

Experience building CI CD pipelines for data engineering and ETL workloads
Experience with Microsoft Fabric including workspaces, lakehouses, notebooks, data pipelines, and warehouses
Experience deploying Power BI semantic models and reports
Prior exposure to Azure DevOps pipelines for context translation
