Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy machine learning and generative AI models including large language model based solutions and retrieval augmented generation pipelines
- Develop scalable AI services and microservices using Python and cloud native technologies
- Optimize models to improve performance, accuracy, and cost efficiency
- Work with structured and unstructured datasets for feature engineering, vectorization, and model training
- Build and maintain data pipelines for training, validation, and inference processes
- Collaborate with data engineering teams on data ingestion, storage, and governance practices
- Implement CI and CD pipelines for machine learning models and manage model lifecycle processes
- Monitor model performance, identify drift, and apply retraining strategies
- Integrate AI systems with enterprise applications, APIs, and cloud platforms
- Design and implement retrieval augmented generation architectures using vector databases
- Ensure solutions align with security, compliance, and responsible AI standards
- Collaborate with product and business teams to translate requirements into technical solutions
- Prepare proofs of concept, demonstrations, and conceptual designs
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in Python and experience with NumPy and Pandas
- Experience with machine learning and deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow
- Hands on experience with large language models and generative AI platforms
- Knowledge of machine learning concepts including natural language processing, embeddings, and model evaluation
- Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS
- Experience with MLOps tools such as SageMaker or similar platforms
- Understanding of REST APIs and microservices architecture
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience working with structured and unstructured data
- Experience integrating AI solutions into enterprise systems
Nice to have
- Experience designing retrieval augmented generation architectures
- Familiarity with serverless computing services
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools for AI systems
- Knowledge of data governance and compliance practices
- Experience building proofs of concept and presenting technical solutions to stakeholders
