Project overview

You will support the analysis and evolution of a distributed microservice platform that processes and aggregates content from multiple suppliers. The work involves defining integration contracts, mapping multi source data flows, and shaping event driven workflows within a content focused architecture.

Position overview

You will work as a Senior Business Analyst supporting a distributed microservice platform. You will analyse supplier integrations, map multi source content flows, define API and event contracts, and translate business needs into implementation ready specifications aligned with microservice architecture patterns.

This role follows standard India office hours, with some flexibility to join early coordinated meetings aligned with the Sydney time zone.

Responsibilities

Analyse functional and non functional requirements for a distributed content platform
Work with supplier integrations and global distribution system data within a multi source environment
Define synchronous and asynchronous integration contracts for APIs and events
Model event driven workflows and document system behaviours across services
Translate business requirements into clear, implementation ready specifications for engineering teams
Collaborate with development and product teams to validate requirements and support delivery
Review data flows across multiple sources and ensure consistency across service boundaries

Requirements

Understanding of supplier integrations and global distribution system concepts
Experience defining API contracts and event schemas
Familiarity with synchronous and asynchronous integration patterns
Experience mapping complex multi source data flows
Understanding of event driven system behaviour
Ability to communicate clearly in English
Ability to collaborate with distributed teams

Nice to have

Experience in the travel ecosystem
Experience supporting unit testing activities
Understanding of content aggregation patterns
