Our client is a global value-based asset management firm headquartered in the US. The client serves individual and institutional investors through five no-load mutual funds and eleven separate account strategies.

Position overview

We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst to support an enhancement project focused on improving a critical analytics application. The application integrates data from multiple sources, processes insights through Power BI, and delivers them via Azure Data Factory. The upcoming work will emphasize incorporating historical data capabilities to strengthen analytical insights and provide more comprehensive reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze, document, and manage requirements through the full project lifecycle
  • Write user stories and user acceptance specifications
  • Take an active part in daily communications with stakeholders and other team representatives
  • Collecting business requirements to formulate the problems to solve
  • Creating detailed requirements for the development team to implement
  • Collecting and analyzing data from various sources to form requirements

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience working as a business analyst
  • Strong knowledge of business analysis and requirements management
  • Leverage understanding of asset classes (equities, fixed income, alternatives), investment strategies, and wealth management operations to provide informed analysis and recommendations.
  • Skills in analyzing and documenting requirements, requirements management, and modeling
  • Skills in managing requirements throughout the project, knowledge of the main models of the project's life cycle
  • Ability to skillfully convert vague and unstructured information into distinct requirements
  • Experience in supporting sales during the RFI/RFP stage and discovery phase
  • Good spoken English
