Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI and Tableau
- Act as a trusted advisor on BI strategy, tools, and best practices
- Optimize performance, usability, and scalability of BI solutions
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and governance across reporting layers
- Design and maintain data models (e.g., star and snowflake schemas)
- Work with data warehouses, ETL pipelines, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Collaborate with data engineers to ensure reliable and efficient data pipelines
- Participate in pre-sales activities, including discovery sessions, solution design, and estimations
- Translate business requirements into scalable BI architectures and technical solutions
- Prepare and deliver demos, POCs, and client presentations
- Contribute to RFP/RFI responses with technical expertise
- Work closely with business stakeholders, product teams, and leadership
- Lead requirements gathering and prioritization across all organizational levels
- Align BI solutions with business goals and analytical needs
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Business Intelligence or Data Analytics
- Strong hands-on expertise with Tableau and Power BI (dashboard development, data modeling, performance optimization)
- Solid knowledge of SQL and experience with relational databases
- Practical experience with data warehousing concepts and ETL processes
- Proven experience in pre-sales, solutioning, or consulting activities
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience working in client-facing environments
Nice to have
- Experience with cloud data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, AWS Redshift, BigQuery)
- Familiarity with other BI tools such as Qlik or Looker
- Knowledge of Python or R for data analysis
- Understanding of data governance and data quality frameworks
- Experience in consulting or outsourcing environments
