Position overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior Developer who combines strong Python/Django backend skills with practical AI/ML implementation experience. This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge AI-powered solutions that are transforming the real estate technology sector. The ideal candidate will help build and optimize production-ready AI systems that enhance the apartment leasing experience for property managers and renters alike.

You will be expected to go beyond coding, understand the client's field, engage with their business challenges, and take ownership of delivering solutions that create meaningful impact.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain robust backend services using Python and Django framework
Implement and integrate AI/ML solutions using LLM API providers (OpenAI, Anthropic) into production systems
Build and optimize RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
Monitor and improve AI model performance using LangSmith and similar observability tools
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, production-ready solutions
Proactively identify opportunities for improvement and innovation within the product
Deep dive into the property management domain to understand user needs and pain points

Requirements

5+ years of professional experience in Python development
Strong expertise with Django framework and REST API development
Hands-on experience implementing LLM-based solutions in production environments
Proficiency with LLM API providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, or similar)
Experience with LangSmith or similar LLM observability and debugging tools
Solid understanding of RESTful service architecture and microservices
Experience with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD pipelines
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Proactive mindset with a genuine interest in understanding business context and domain specifics
Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a distributed team environment
English proficiency (B2 level or higher)

Nice to have

Frontend development experience with React.js
Experience in the PropTech or Real Estate industry
Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS)
Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
Familiarity with vector databases and RAG implementations
Understanding of prompt engineering and LLM fine-tuning
Experience working directly with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions
