Project overview

You will support the development of backend services within a service oriented platform that processes multi source travel data and powers functional domains used across the system. The work involves API design, integration with event driven components, and collaboration with teams who build surrounding services.

Position overview

You will work as a Backend Developer contributing to microservices that support content processing, supplier integrations, and distributed system workflows. You will develop services using C Sharp and .NET Core, work with event driven messaging, and integrate with both synchronous and asynchronous components.

This role follows standard India office hours and requires some flexibility to join early coordinated meetings aligned with the Sydney time zone.

Responsibilities

Develop backend microservices using C Sharp and .NET Core
Implement REST APIs and support synchronous and asynchronous integration patterns
Work with event driven messaging models and distributed workflows
Design schemas and query data in SQL and NoSQL environments
Collaborate with teams to support system wide functionality and consistent data flows
Contribute to microservices that support content processing and supplier integrations
Follow secure and modern microservice development practices

Requirements

Experience developing backend services using C Sharp and .NET Core
Familiarity with microservice and service oriented architecture
Experience integrating with REST endpoints and event driven systems
Experience with SQL and NoSQL data models
Understanding of Azure cloud services and distributed system fundamentals
Ability to communicate clearly in English
Ability to work within distributed engineering teams

Nice to have

Experience in the travel ecosystem
Exposure to global distribution system or supplier integration concepts
Unit testing experience
