Our client operates in the travel and hospitality industry and is building a high-volume distribution and integration platform that connects downstream systems with multiple Hotel Property Management Systems (PMS) and hospitality platforms.

The platform supports mission-critical availability, rate, and inventory flows and is designed for scalability, performance, and resiliency.

Project overview

The project focuses on high-throughput, low-latency distribution, handling complex hospitality concepts such as ARI (Availability, Rates, Inventory), restrictions, inventory blocks, and state reconciliation across event-driven and polling-based models.

The platform is built using Microsoft technologies (.NET and Azure), with a strong emphasis on Azure infrastructure, DevOps, and relational data consistency.

Position overview

We are looking for an experienced Technical Project Manager to lead complex technical initiatives within a large-scale hospitality distribution platform.

The ideal candidate will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage Agile delivery processes, and ensure the successful execution of projects focused on integrations, scalability, and platform reliability. Strong communication skills, technical expertise, and experience working with distributed teams will be essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a Project Manager and Scrum Master for one or more Agile teams.
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and reviews.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and Agile best practices.
  • Define project scope, goals, timelines, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain project plans, roadmaps, and delivery schedules.
  • Manage dependencies, risks, blockers, and issue resolution across teams.
  • Ensure alignment between business priorities and technical implementation.
  • Collaborate with engineers and architects to understand technical requirements and integration flows.
  • Support backlog refinement and prioritization together with Product Owners.
  • Provide clear status reporting and delivery updates to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Act as a bridge between technical and non-technical teams.
  • Manage expectations regarding scope, timelines, and delivery quality.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience as a Project Manager and/or Scrum Master.
  • Strong knowledge of Agile frameworks, including Scrum and Kanban.
  • Solid understanding of SDLC, cloud platforms, and enterprise software delivery.
  • Experience working with distributed technical teams.
  • Understanding of integration-heavy systems and platform delivery processes.
  • Familiarity with the Microsoft technology stack, Azure environments, and DevOps practices.
  • Experience with Jira, Confluence, and related collaboration tools.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Upper-Intermediate or higher level of English.

Nice to have

  • PMP or other relevant project management certifications.
  • Experience in the Travel & Hospitality industry.
  • Understanding of hospitality platforms, PMS integrations, or ARI flows.
  • Experience with high-load, event-driven systems.
