Project overview

The project focuses on building a structured automation pipeline that connects business operations, process mining insights, and automation delivery. You will help establish governance, visibility, and value tracking for automation initiatives across multiple functions.

Team

You will work within a cross functional automation and operational excellence team that includes business analysts, process mining specialists, automation engineers, and transformation leaders. The team collaborates closely with operations, customer service, and technology stakeholders using transparent governance and shared documentation standards.

Position overview

We are looking for a Senior Automation Business Analyst who will support enterprise automation and transformation initiatives by discovering, analyzing, and documenting business processes and identifying high value automation opportunities across operations.

Technology stack

Process mining platforms, workflow automation tools, automation portfolio management tools, enterprise SaaS systems, data platforms, Microsoft Office Suite, collaboration and documentation tools

Responsibilities

Discover and assess end to end business processes across operational domains
Analyze current state workflows and define target state process designs aligned with automation goals
Document workflows, process flows, business rules, and dependencies using agreed standards
Identify and evaluate automation opportunities using value baselining and benefit analysis
Support intake assessment, routing, and governance of automation demand
Maintain automation inventory and portfolio visibility with clear ownership and status tracking
Collaborate with operations, COO level stakeholders, and technology teams to align priorities
Contribute to automation governance frameworks and operating model definition
Track value realization and support ongoing measurement of automation benefits
Enable cross functional collaboration and informed decision making through clear analysis and documentation

Requirements

Experience in process discovery, process analysis, and workflow documentation
Hands on exposure to process mining concepts and tools
Experience identifying automation opportunities and supporting automation intake and governance
Ability to document current state and target state processes, business rules, and dependencies
Experience with automation portfolio or pipeline management practices
Understanding of operational excellence and process improvement methodologies
Strong analytical thinking and structured problem solving skills
Experience working with enterprise systems and SaaS platforms
Ability to collaborate effectively with business and technology stakeholders
Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools for analysis and documentation
Strong time management and attention to detail in a multi stakeholder environment

Nice to have

Exposure to AI and intelligent automation initiatives
Experience in customer service or travel related operational domains
Awareness of Lean or Six Sigma practices
Familiarity with Agile or Scrum ways of working
Understanding of global operating models
CBAP or PMI PBA certification awareness
Experience supporting large scale transformation programs
