Project overview

The program is a multi phase data migration initiative aimed at replacing legacy capital markets systems with a modern platform ecosystem. It includes the migration of critical datasets across custody, clearing and settlement, derivatives processing, and CCP operations. The project spans 18 months and follows an incremental approach with strong emphasis on data integrity, reconciliation, and traceability.

Team

You will work within a cross functional team including data engineers, data analysts, and domain experts from capital markets. The team operates under an iterative delivery model, with strong emphasis on data validation cycles, reconciliation processes, and collaboration with business stakeholders to ensure correctness of migrated data.

Position overview

We are looking for a Senior Project Manager to lead a large scale data migration program within a capital markets environment.

This role is responsible for driving end to end delivery of a multi stream transformation initiative, ensuring alignment between business and technology teams, and managing dependencies across multiple workstreams. You will oversee planning, execution, and governance, ensuring the program is delivered on time, within scope, and with the required quality standards.

The position requires strong experience managing complex programs, stakeholder alignment, and risk management in data intensive and regulated environments.

Responsibilities

Lead the planning and execution of a multi stream data migration program
Define and manage project scope, timelines, milestones, and deliverables
Coordinate multiple workstreams, ensuring alignment and dependency management
Drive communication and alignment across business, technology, and external stakeholders
Identify, assess, and manage risks, issues, and mitigation plans
Ensure governance structures, reporting, and tracking mechanisms are in place
Monitor progress and ensure adherence to timelines, budget, and quality standards
Facilitate decision making and escalate issues when needed
Support prioritization based on business impact and technical dependencies
Ensure proper documentation of project artifacts, decisions, and processes
Promote collaboration and accountability across teams
