Position overview

We are seeking a Senior Sales Executive to drive growth across our M&E practice. In this role, you will leverage DataArt’s deep engineering and AI expertise to address practice specific challenges from media supply chain modernisation and streaming platform delivery to programmatic ad tech and sports data innovation for major broadcasters, publishers, and sports organisations worldwide.

This position involves working with complex business challenges in the media and entertainment sector, building relationships with stakeholders at all levels, and supporting clients as they improve operations and gain deeper insights through data driven and AI enabled innovation. The role includes advising clients on transformation initiatives and applying a proven background in technology consulting sales within the media and entertainment domain.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to drive revenue growth across the M&E practice, focusing on data, AI, and engineering solutions that address practice challenges such as streaming platform scalability, intelligent media workflows, programmatic ad ops, and sports data platforms
  • Identify, prospect, and cultivate new business opportunities. Build a robust pipeline by targeting and engaging M&E prospects broadcasters, publishers, streaming platforms, ad tech providers, and sports organisations and converting leads into long term clients
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key client executives CXO and VP level across media, advertising, and sports. Serve as a trusted advisor on innovative, outcome focused data and AI offerings, and influence decision makers by articulating how solutions support their strategic goals
  • Stay abreast of current and emerging trends in the M&E space including streaming and OTT growth, AI driven content and ad personalisation, rights and rightstech complexity, and sports data commercialisation and translate this knowledge into tailored value propositions
  • Lead the end to end sales cycle from initial contact to deal closure, including qualifying opportunities, coordinating with technical teams on demos and PoCs, and leading proposal development. Ensure proposals clearly convey the business value of solutions in the client’s context
  • Drive contract negotiations and pricing discussions with clients, aiming for win win agreements. Successfully close deals to meet or exceed sales targets, ensuring alignment with company guidelines and profitability goals
  • Represent at M&E industry events, conferences, and webinars to promote capabilities and gather market intelligence. Actively network within the practice and contribute to thought leadership content

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in enterprise technology sales or IT consulting business development, with a proven track record of selling complex, project based solutions with long sales cycles and high value deals
  • Significant experience in the M&E sector ideally spanning broadcasting, streaming, publishing, ad tech, or sports with demonstrated success engaging and selling to senior executives in the practice
  • An established network of contacts such as CTOs, CDOs, CIOs, or business unit leaders within M&E organisations is highly desirable
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with superb presentation and negotiation abilities. Adept at consultative selling able to translate complex technical solutions into clear business benefits for stakeholders at all levels
  • Highly self motivated and goal driven, with strong strategic thinking and problem solving skills. Capable of independently developing account strategies and driving them to success
  • Demonstrated ability to engage in consultative sales, crafting strategic solutions and presenting complex technical concepts in a compelling, accessible manner for both technical and non technical audiences
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the agility to adapt to changing market conditions and the creativity to identify new growth opportunities
  • Ability to work effectively in a global environment, collaborating with distributed teams and clients across multiple geographies and time zones
  • Familiarity with emerging technologies impacting M&E such as AI driven content workflows, cloud playout, programmatic advertising, and sports data platforms and enthusiasm for staying updated on tech trends
  • High level of integrity, customer focus, and commitment to delivering value, with a proven ability to build trust and long term partnerships
