Client

Our client is one of the world's largest investment funds that manages hundreds of billions of dollars. The company's business is focused on several areas: private equity, venture capital, real assets, investment solutions, and global market strategies.

Position overview

We are placing a Junior Business Analyst to support a Global Technology Solutions team within a leading private equity firm. This role will work closely with a senior team member, focusing on day-to-day execution across Agile delivery and requirements management.

Responsibilities

Write and maintain Jira tickets, including user stories and acceptance criteria
Support backlog management and requirements documentation
Gather and clarify requirements with guidance from senior team members
Assist with Agile ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives)
Create and manage Outlook calendar invites, including scheduling meetings and coordinating across stakeholders
Support testing efforts by validating features and documenting issues
Help track enhancements, bugs, and system updates
Contribute to basic reporting (e.g., usage/adoption tracking)
Collaborate with product owners, developers, and QA to support delivery

Requirements

1–3 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role
Familiarity with Agile environments (internship or professional experience)
Experience with to Jira and/or Confluence
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Good communication skills and willingness to ask questions
Ability to manage multiple small tasks and follow through reliably

Nice to have

Exposure to financial services or enterprise systems
Experience supporting testing or QA activities
