Project overview

Data Quality Platform is a solution focused on ensuring reliability, correctness, and integrity of enterprise data flows. The project supports data ingestion, transformation, and analytics by applying robust automated quality controls and validation processes across multiple data sources.

Team

You will work as part of a cross functional engineering team that includes data engineers, backend developers, and quality assurance specialists. The team collaborates closely using agile practices and shared ownership of quality across the delivery lifecycle.

Position overview

We are looking for a Senior AQA Developer with strong experience in data validation and test automation to support a large scale data driven platform. In this role, you will focus on validating complex data pipelines, ensuring data accuracy and consistency, and contributing to high quality engineering practices across the project.

Technology stack

TypeScript, Python, automated testing frameworks, SQL, data validation frameworks, REST APIs, CI CD pipelines, cloud based data platforms

Responsibilities

Design and develop automated tests for data validation, data governance and data quality checks
Validate data pipelines including ingestion, transformation, and storage layers
Create test strategies and test cases for complex data scenarios
Implement test automation using TypeScript and Python
Collaborate with data engineers and developers to identify data issues early
Analyze data discrepancies and clearly document findings
Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and tooling
Support integration of automated tests into CI CD pipelines

Requirements

Senior level experience in quality assurance or test automation roles
Hands on experience with data validation and data quality testing
Strong programming experience with TypeScript and Python
Experience validating large datasets using SQL and automated scripts
Understanding of data pipelines, ETL or ELT processes
Experience working with APIs and backend services
Familiarity with CI CD pipelines and test automation integration
Ability to collaborate effectively in distributed engineering teams

Nice to have

Experience with cloud based data platforms
Exposure to data engineering or analytics environments
Experience testing microservices or data intensive systems
Knowledge of version control systems such as Git
