Position overview
The candidate is able to work effectively with distributed global teams and can provide the required overlap with the EST time zone.
Responsibilities
- Gather and analyze business requirements for system integrations and data mapping; translate these into clear, detailed, and testable functional specifications and user stories.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to define the functional scope of wealth management data products.
- Manage project scope, dependencies, and requirements throughout the entire delivery lifecycle, providing clarity to engineering teams to reduce ambiguity.
- Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) and manage rollout planning to ensure solutions meet business expectations.
- Prepare templates, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and supporting documentation to ensure structured and repeatable delivery.
- Define and monitor KPIs to measure product adoption and identify areas for ongoing improvement.
- Utilize AI-based tools to enhance efficiency in story writing, documentation, and data analysis tasks.
Requirements
- Proven hands-on experience in wealth or investment management, including a deep understanding of portfolio data and the end-to-end investment lifecycle in a regulated environment.
- Extensive experience in process mapping, workflow documentation, and writing epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Strong background working within Agile frameworks and active participation in standard delivery ceremonies.
- Superior problem-solving skills with the ability to conduct root cause analysis on complex system or process issues.
- Exceptional relationship management skills with the confidence to engage both technical resources and senior business partners.
Nice to have
- Professional certification such as CFA (or progress toward candidacy).
- Technical exposure to industry tools including Tableau, Addepar, NetSuite, Salesforce, Morningstar, Bloomberg, UKG, or Snowflake.
- Proficiency in SQL for querying and analyzing data within relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, PostgreSQL).
