Project overview

The FinTech Analytics Platform focuses on building reliable, well-structured data and reporting capabilities to support financial operations and decision-making. The platform integrates multiple systems and data sources to enable analytics, reporting, and regulatory insight across the organization.

The environment combines modern data engineering practices, cloud-based analytics platforms, and scalable reporting solutions to improve data accessibility, consistency, and operational visibility across the business.

Team

You will work within a cross-functional team that includes product managers, data engineers, software engineers, BI developers, and business stakeholders. The team collaborates closely using agile practices and shared ownership of requirements, delivery, and data quality.

Position overview

We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst / Business Systems Analyst with strong exposure to data analytics, reporting ecosystems, and fintech platforms to support the growth of a modern data and analytics environment.

This role sits at the intersection of business analysis, systems analysis, and data architecture, working closely with product, engineering, data, and business stakeholders. You will help define how data flows through the organization, how financial reporting is structured, and how business requirements are translated into clear technical deliverables.

This position is well-suited for someone comfortable working in early-stage or scaling fintech environments who understands data engineering concepts and can bring structure and clarity to ambiguous problem spaces. The role is closer to a hybrid Business Analyst / Data Analyst profile operating within a fintech data platform environment rather than a traditional business analysis role.

Strong financial domain knowledge is considered a significant advantage.

Location: Ireland (preferred), although candidates across the EU will also be considered.
