Position overview

We are looking for a knowledgeable and proactive HR Admin to join our Georgian office and become an integral part of our multinational HR community. The successful candidate will own the full spectrum of HR administration in Georgia, from ensuring strict compliance with Georgian labour legislation to partnering with colleagues across the organisation on people-related initiatives. This is a hands-on role requiring both deep legal expertise and the interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively in a cross-border, multicultural environment.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the in-house expert on the Georgian Labour Code and related employment regulations, ensuring all HR practices, contracts, and policies are fully compliant.
  • Draft, review, and manage employment contracts, amendments, termination agreements, and other HR-related legal documents.
  • Monitor legislative changes and proactively update internal policies and practices accordingly.
  • Manage disciplinary and grievance procedures in line with Georgian law and company policy.
  • Administer the complete employee lifecycle, including onboarding, probation, role changes, and offboarding.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR databases, ensuring compliance with data protection legislation.
  • Manage leave entitlements, absence tracking, and benefits administration.
  • Support international assignee and expatriate processes, including work permit applications, residence permits, and visa coordination in accordance with Georgian immigration legislation.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for immigration-related queries and liaise with relevant government authorities.
  • Actively participate in the global and regional HR community, contributing Georgian insights and adopting best practices from across the organisation.
  • Partner with HR colleagues in other countries on cross-border projects, policy harmonisation, and knowledge sharing.
  • Support regional HR initiatives, reporting, and audits as required.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of HR administration or HR generalist experience, preferably within a multinational or international organisation.
  • Thorough, demonstrable knowledge of Georgian Labour Law and practical experience applying it in day-to-day HR operations.
  • Proven ability to draft and interpret employment-related legal documents.
  • Fluent English (written and spoken), essential for collaboration with the international HR team and for managing cross-border documentation.
  • Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Discreet, trustworthy, and comfortable handling sensitive and confidential information.

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with Georgian immigration legislation and experience managing work permit or visa processes.
  • Working knowledge of data protection principles applicable in Georgia, including GDPR-adjacent obligations for multinational operations.
