Project overview

You will contribute to enterprise grade backend development for a service oriented platform that aggregates data from multiple suppliers and enables policy and rules based processing. The work includes microservice architecture, cloud based design, and performance focused development across distributed systems.

Position overview

You will work as a backend specialist contributing to a distributed platform that processes multi source travel content. You will design and implement microservices using C Sharp and .NET Core, support synchronous and asynchronous integrations, and apply scalable cloud native approaches.

This role follows standard India office hours and requires some flexibility to join early coordinated meetings aligned with the Sydney time zone.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop microservices using C Sharp and .NET Core
  • Implement services that support multi source data aggregation and domain specific functionality
  • Apply microservice patterns such as API first design, domain driven concepts, and bounded contexts
  • Integrate with REST based services and asynchronous event driven components
  • Work with SQL and NoSQL databases including modelling and optimisation
  • Use Azure based services and apply cloud configuration and resiliency practices
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure reliable and scalable service behaviour
  • Participate in reviews and contribute to continuous improvement processes

Requirements

  • Experience using C Sharp and .NET Core for backend service development
  • Familiarity with microservice architecture and service oriented design patterns
  • Experience working with REST APIs and event driven systems
  • Experience with SQL and NoSQL data models including schema design
  • Understanding of Azure cloud services, distributed system fundamentals, and scalability concepts
  • Ability to communicate clearly in English
  • Ability to collaborate with distributed teams

Nice to have

  • Experience in the travel ecosystem
  • Familiarity with global distribution system or supplier integration models
  • Unit test experience
