Project overview

You will be involved in a long term initiative focused on improving financial processes, operational transparency, and delivery governance across multiple business units. The platform supports investment management, trading, asset management, and compliance workflows.

Position overview

In this role, you will guide end to end delivery of financial and regulatory projects within a structured environment. You will work closely with business and engineering partners to bring clarity to requirements, organize delivery work, manage risks, and ensure consistent communication across all involved teams. This position is an ideal match for someone who enjoys structured project ownership and thrives on coordinating cross functional efforts in a finance heavy context.

Responsibilities

  • Drive end to end project lifecycle management including planning, requirements clarification, execution, delivery, and post implementation review
  • Define project scope, timelines, milestones, and success metrics in close collaboration with business and technology partners
  • Manage project risks, issues, and dependencies while maintaining clear mitigation plans
  • Facilitate communication across business, engineering, compliance, and vendor groups
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation and status reporting for working groups and steering committees
  • Ensure alignment with financial and regulatory standards as well as organizational priorities
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial tracking for assigned initiatives
  • Guide teams using Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery approaches depending on project needs
  • Maintain high quality governance throughout the project lifecycle

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience as a Project Manager in financial services or a finance intensive environment
  • Understanding of financial processes including investment management, trading, asset management, portfolio reporting, and compliance
  • Experience leading cross functional teams and managing complex multi phase initiatives
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills including work with senior leadership
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid
  • Ability to define scope, manage timelines, and bring clarity to ambiguous situations
  • Experience working with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, MS Project, Azure DevOps
  • Solid analytical and problem solving skills with strong attention to detail

Nice to have

  • Experience working with distributed teams
  • Knowledge of financial regulatory frameworks
  • Background in process optimisation or operational excellence
