Project overview

This project supports several strategic initiatives for a global hospitality organization. Workstreams include the development of a new web application, migration of legacy Salesforce instances to Salesforce Cloud and additional voice and data initiatives supported by dedicated architecture roles. A governance team will guide discovery, maintain architectural consistency and support informed technical decision making across all key areas.

Team

You will be part of a governance team that collaborates with delivery teams, technical leads and subject matter experts. The team works in a structured and transparent environment with an emphasis on architectural alignment, clear communication and predictable execution.

Position overview

We are looking for a Solution Architect who will ensure architectural alignment across Salesforce and web application initiatives. You will work within a governance team and act as a technical authority, guiding discovery activities, supporting architectural decisions and ensuring that solutions reflect both business goals and modern engineering practices. This role requires an AI enabled approach, using AI tools to support discovery, design and decision making.

The position is client facing and requires on site presence in Cancun or the ability to travel regularly.

Responsibilities

  • Define and enforce architectural standards and guardrails across Salesforce and web initiatives.
  • Ensure consistency, scalability, and maintainability of solutions.
  • Review and validate key technical decisions made by delivery teams.
  • Provide architectural oversight for Salesforce migration initiatives.
  • Ensure alignment between Salesforce solutions and the broader application ecosystem.
  • Guide integration patterns and data flows across systems.
  • Lead and support the definition of the target architecture for the new web platform.
  • Evaluate technology options during discovery and guide decision-making.
  • Ensure seamless integration with Salesforce and other systems.
  • Leverage AI tools to accelerate architectural analysis, documentation, and design decisions.
  • Collaborate with teams using AI-assisted development approaches.
  • Promote pragmatic adoption of AI to improve delivery speed and quality.
  • Work closely with Tech Leads and engineering teams across initiatives.
  • Engage with client stakeholders to explain architectural decisions and trade-offs.
  • Drive alignment and facilitate decision-making across business and technology teams.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in software architecture or senior technical roles.
  • Experience designing modern web application architectures.
  • Solid experience working with or integrating Salesforce platforms.
  • Strong understanding of integration patterns and distributed systems.
  • Experience in cloud environments (AWS preferred).
  • Experience working in consulting or services environments with enterprise clients.
  • Practical experience using AI tools in software development or architecture workflows.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Native Spanish and professional English.

Nice to have

  • Experience with Salesforce Experience Cloud or alternative frontend architectures.
  • Exposure to AI-driven development practices or GenAI use cases.
  • Experience in multi-vendor environments.
