Project overview

Multi-tenant SaaS platform managing dispatcher operations, crisis case routing, and integration with behavioral health networks across US states. System in production with active roadmap focused on improving derivation analytics, behavioral health system integration, and operational workflow optimization.

Position overview

We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst based in Argentina to join a distributed product team. The successful candidate will be responsible for translating business requirements (originating from the Product Owner and business consultants) into clear, precise, and actionable user stories that take into account product architecture, operational constraints, and healthcare regulations.

This role owns requirement clarity and story quality end-to-end—validating requirements against the existing platform, identifying integration dependencies, ensuring acceptance criteria are testable, and supporting the development team throughout execution to maintain alignment with the original business intent.

Responsibilities

  • Requirements translation: Receive business requirements from PO and business consultants; translate into precise, testable user stories accounting for platform architecture, healthcare regulation, and operational 24/7 constraints
  • Product understanding: Maintain working knowledge of existing product features, integrations, roadmap, and multi-tenant data model; evaluate how new requirements fit within existing functional landscape
  • Dependency analysis: Identify integration dependencies with behavioral health networks and regulatory reporting; surface tradeoffs and constraints early
  • Story ownership: Own story quality end-to-end—define acceptance criteria, validate against compliance requirements, document assumptions, and ensure stories are executable without interpretation
  • Development support: Provide clarification during sprint execution; resolve ambiguities and protect original requirement intent during implementation
  • Requirements validation: Challenge unclear or potentially infeasible requirements; escalate conflicting priorities or scope issues to PO before sprint commitment

Requirements

  • 5+ years as Business Analyst in software environments managing complex requirements and multi-stakeholder coordination
  • 2+ years experience in healthcare software environments (hospital systems, health networks, insurance platforms, public health systems, or clinical software)
  • Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into precise, testable user stories with clear acceptance criteria
  • Working knowledge of healthcare regulatory frameworks: HIPAA compliance, healthcare data governance, and state-level healthcare protocols
  • Proven experience identifying hidden dependencies, challenging incomplete requirements, and surfacing integration complexity before development begins
  • Strong product thinking: understands how features interact, thinks about user workflows, identifies architectural constraints
  • Comfort with distributed team dynamics and synchronous collaboration across time zones
  • Fluent English (meetings, documentation, client interaction)
  • Flexible availability for meetings during overlap hours between Argentina and US time zones

Nice to have

  • Crisis management, emergency response, or behavioral health experience
  • Direct 988, crisis call centers, or emergency dispatch platform experience
  • Multi-tenant SaaS data models and isolation patterns
  • HL7/FHIR healthcare integration standards
  • Fast-paced, stakeholder-heavy requirement clarification
  • Balances business value with engineering reality
  • Asks better questions than providing answers
  • Understands 24/7 systems have different tradeoff calculus than typical software
  • Intellectual honesty about scope and complexity
  • Exposure to AI/ML concepts and ability to translate AI-driven requirements into testable acceptance criteria; comfortable evolving requirements as AI optimization initiatives mature
