Position overview

We are seeking a Gemini Enterprise, Agent Platform and Google Workspace Deployment Lead to join our Cloud Operations Hub. This is a unique hybrid role with a distinct 50/50 split in focus. This is a unique role for an extremely innovative AI expert. DataArt will provide the environment to test, deploy and scale Agents while also allowing you to fully engage with clients and help accelerate the GE adoption.

50% Internal Optimization: Serving as our internal champion for Gemini Enterprise & Agent Platform and integration with GWS, automating administrative workflows, and managing our cloud ecosystem.

50% Client Delivery: Partnering with clients to deliver Gemini Enterprise solutions, driving GCP automation, and guiding them through modern cloud transformation initiatives.

Technology stack

Cloud Platforms: Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Google Workspace (GWS), Gemini Enterprise, Agent Platform
AI Tools: Gemini Enterprise, Claude & Internal AI Proprietary Tool
Identity & Access: IAM, OAuth, Microsoft Entra ID (SSO, group provisioning)
ITSM & Operations: Jira Helpdesk, internal approval workflows
Automation: Scripting languages (Python, Bash, or Go), Google Apps Script, REST APIs

Responsibilities

  • Gemini Enterprise Delivery: Lead the deployment and enablement of Gemini Enterprise for clients, helping them integrate GenAI capabilities into their workflows and Google Workspace environments.
  • Cloud Transformation: Consult with clients to architect, automate, and optimize their GCP infrastructure, aligning their setups with modern cloud-native best practices.
  • Automation Engineering: Build automated workflows for clients to streamline GCP project creation, billing configurations, and resource management.
  • Client Enablement: Act as a technical subject matter expert, conducting workshops or creating documentation to help client teams adopt Gemini Enterprise and advanced GCP features.
  • Workspace & Gemini Administration: Manage internal Gemini Enterprise and Google Workspace environments, including access controls, license allocation, and utilization auditing.
  • Identity & Access Management (IAM): Configure and maintain secure IAM roles, OAuth consent screens, and API credentials following the principle of least privilege.
  • Workflow Automation: Develop and maintain automated scripts to handle employee lifecycle events (onboarding/offboarding), license monitoring, and group-based provisioning.
  • Ecosystem Integration: Monitor and optimize synchronization between Microsoft Entra ID and Google Workspace; integrate automation into Jira Helpdesk workflows to process requests automatically.
  • Financial Operations (FinOps): Implement internal GCP cost controls, setting up budgets, alerts, and cost-monitoring dashboards.

Requirements

  • Google Cloud Expertise: Strong hands-on experience with GCP (Project hierarchy, folder structures, billing, API enablement) and advanced Google Workspace and administration.
  • Gemini Enterprise Knowledge: Familiarity with deploying, managing, and driving adoption for Gemini Enterprise features (or similar enterprise-level GenAI suites).
  • Client-Facing Skills: Proven ability to interface with clients, understand their business transformation goals, and deliver technical solutions effectively.
  • Automation & Scripting: Solid experience using scripting or APIs to automate repetitive IT administrative tasks and user lifecycle workflows.
  • Identity Governance: Deep understanding of IAM, OAuth scopes, and syncing third-party identity providers like Microsoft Entra ID.
  • Operational Discipline: Experience working within structured environments (using ticketing systems like Jira) with a strong commitment to documenting changes for traceability.

Nice to have

  • Experience integrating Jira Service Management with automated webhooks or cloud functions.
  • Active Google Cloud certifications (e.g., Professional Cloud Architect, Professional Google Workspace Administrator).
  • Familiarity with Google partner platforms such as Skill Boost or Partner Advantage.
