Position overview

We are working with a leading organization in the hospitality industry, supporting a portfolio of strategic digital initiatives across its technology landscape. The engagement includes multiple parallel initiatives: development of a new web application, development of the Analytics Data Lake, and the introduction of AI-driven capabilities based on agentic architectures.

A governance team leads the discovery phase and ensures architectural consistency and sound technical decisions across key workstreams. We are looking for a Solution Architect with strong experience in AI systems, particularly agent-based architectures, to join this governance team and take ownership of architectural alignment across AI and web application initiatives.

This role requires a broad architectural mindset combined with hands-on experience designing and implementing AI solutions using modern agent frameworks. The architect will operate as a technical authority across teams, driving architectural decisions, enforcing standards, and ensuring alignment between business goals and AI-enabled solutions. This is a highly client-facing role requiring strong communication skills and the ability to influence stakeholders. The position might require travelling to Cancún, México.

Responsibilities

  • Define and enforce architectural standards and guardrails across AI and web initiatives.
  • Ensure consistency, scalability, security, and maintainability of solutions.
  • Review and validate key technical decisions made by delivery teams.
  • Design and oversee agent based systems leveraging modern frameworks such as LangChain, OpenAI Agents SDK, LlamaIndex, and Semantic Kernel.
  • Define patterns for agent orchestration, tool usage, memory management, and multi agent collaboration.
  • Establish best practices for prompt design, evaluation, and continuous improvement of AI systems.
  • Ensure robustness against common risks, including hallucinations, prompt injection, and tool misuse.
  • Define integration patterns between agents and enterprise systems such as APIs, databases, and event streams.
  • Provide architectural oversight for Salesforce migration initiatives.
  • Ensure alignment between Salesforce solutions, AI capabilities, and the broader application ecosystem.
  • Guide integration patterns and data flows across systems.
  • Support the definition of the target architecture for the new web platform.
  • Evaluate technology options during discovery and guide decision making.
  • Ensure seamless integration with AI services and Salesforce.
  • Promote AI first development practices, including agent assisted SDLC workflows.
  • Define how AI agents can be embedded into development, QA, and operational processes.
  • Support teams in adopting frameworks, tools, and patterns for building AI powered features.
  • Work closely with Tech Leads, AI engineers, and product teams across initiatives.
  • Engage with client stakeholders to explain AI and architectural decisions, trade offs, and risks.
  • Drive alignment and facilitate decision making across business and technology teams.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in software architecture or senior technical roles.
  • Proven experience designing and implementing AI solutions, particularly agent based systems.
  • Experience with evaluation frameworks for AI systems, including prompt evaluation, agent evaluation, and benchmarking.
  • Experience with Model Context Protocol MCP or similar approaches for tool and context management.
  • Experience with vector databases and retrieval systems.
  • Experience designing multi agent systems or complex orchestration workflows.
  • Hands on experience with agent frameworks such as LangChain, OpenAI Agents SDK, LlamaIndex, Semantic Kernel, or similar tools.
  • Strong understanding of LLM capabilities, limitations, and integration patterns, including RAG, tools, and orchestration.
  • Experience designing modern web application architectures.
  • Strong understanding of integration patterns and distributed systems.
  • Experience in cloud environments such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
  • Experience working in consulting or services environments with enterprise clients.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Native Spanish and professional English.

Nice to have

  • Experience with Salesforce Experience Cloud or alternative frontend architectures.
  • Experience in multi vendor environments.
  • Experience working with or integrating Salesforce platforms.
