They are at the forefront of digital transformation in real estate, helping property managers streamline operations, enhance renter experiences, and make data-driven decisions through cutting-edge technology that automates routine tasks and provides actionable insights.

Position overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior Developer who combines strong React frontend skills with robust Python/Django backend expertise. This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge solutions that are transforming the real estate technology sector. The ideal candidate will help build and optimize full-stack applications that enhance the apartment leasing experience for property managers and renters alike.

You’ll be expected to go beyond just coding to truly understand the client’s field, engage with their business challenges, and take ownership of delivering solutions that make a real impact.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop responsive, user-friendly web applications using React.js and modern JavaScript
  • Build and maintain robust backend services using Python and Django framework
  • Create reusable React components and implement state management solutions
  • Develop and optimize RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
  • Ensure seamless integration between frontend and backend systems
  • Collaborate with UX/UI designers to implement pixel-perfect, accessible interfaces
  • Optimize application performance, ensuring fast load times and smooth user interactions
  • Proactively identify opportunities for improvement and innovation within the product
  • Deep dive into the property management domain to understand user needs and pain points
  • Ensure code quality, performance, and security best practices across the full stack

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional experience in full-stack development
  • Strong expertise with React.js, including hooks, context API, and modern React patterns
  • Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design
  • Solid experience with Python and Django framework for backend development
  • Experience with state management libraries (Redux, MobX, or Context API)
  • Strong understanding of RESTful service architecture and API design
  • Experience with modern frontend build tools (Webpack, Vite, or similar)
  • Familiarity with frontend testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library)
  • Experience with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD pipelines
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Proactive mindset with a genuine interest in understanding business context and domain specifics
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a distributed team environment
  • English proficiency (B2 level or higher)

Nice to have

  • Experience with LLM API providers (OpenAI, Anthropic) and AI integration
  • Knowledge of LangSmith or similar AI/ML observability tools
  • Experience in the PropTech or Real Estate industry
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
  • Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Familiarity with GraphQL
  • Experience with Next.js or other React frameworks
  • Knowledge of UI/UX design principles and tools (Figma, Sketch)
  • Experience working directly with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions
